Frances Elizabeth Davis Mcmahon was born 11 July 1922 Glasgow.

Her parents were James Mcmahon and Martha Freeman Blue.

Frances married at age 18 Thomas Pettigrew Smart age 25. At the time of Frances marriage she was living at number 600 Govan Road and working as a Tailoress. Her Husband Tommy was living at number 7 Hoey Street Glasgow and working as a Shipyard Labourer.

Frances and Tommy did not have any children. Frances is now a widow and age 85
